Shenango Valley Travels to Hershey, PA

Snowflake 16 Tournament

February 14, 2004 -- Two Shenango Valley teams from Bethel Presbyterian (JV/Novice) traveled to Hershey, PA to compete in the Snowflake 16 tournament.  Held at Hershey Free Evangelical Church, Snowflake is a WBQA sponsored event attracting forty to fifty teams per year.  After a morning of preliminary quizzes, the JV team was defeated in the first round of the play-offs on a tie-breaker question.  JV was held to 13th place.  Novice found more success, having made a great play-off run leaving them 5th in the standings.  For more information on the Snowflake Tournament, please visit www.snowflaketournament.org, and for more information about the WBQA, please visit www.wbqa.org.
